 Avoid learning wants!

Don’t choose topics just because you enjoy them or have an interest in them.

Our learning will not take place in isolation. We must take into account local and national priorities and integrate our learning with the rest of our practice developing a Practice Professional Development Plan (PPDP).

Remember that we do not learn in isolation. we are part of local and National teams. The Needs of our practice and locality should influence our learning. For instance if you now little about diabetes but 2 of your partners are GP specialists in diabetes then it is not a learning priority. similarly if nobody in your practice knows anything about diabetes then it would increase its priority
